Good News! UC and CSU Allow for Religious Vaccine Exemptions

In 2015 California passed Bill SB277 that for the 1st time took away student’s rights for personal belief and religious vaccine exemptions to enter school. Parents were left at the door at schools having to find ways to protect their child’s rights and provide an education for their child.

Since then organizations like Children’s Health Defense and other health freedom organizations have been fighting to get back our rights, rights our country was founded on. Finally we have gained ground to protect our religious rights! ICAN’s attorney Aaron Siri filed two successful lawsuits on behalf of University of students at the University of California Davis (UC Davis) and the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). As a result, the entire University of California (UC) school system has changed its vaccination policy to permit religious exemptions for all 295,000+ of its students!

To understand what this means for University and College students, A Voice For Choice Advocacy AVFCA breaks down the current requirements for California State University (CSU),University of California (UC), California Community Colleges (CCC) and Private California Colleges and Universities. AVFCA also offers a religious exemption writers workshop.

To find information on College and Universities mandate requirements, No College Mandates provides a spreadsheet with the list of all Colleges and Universities that have/had COVID vaccine requirements.

Children’s health right advocacy groups have hope with this latest decision that it will give strength for further lawsuits to have religious exemptions instated for K-12 and private schools. We will continue to fight for the health rights of our children.
