Kennedy Jr. was joined by leading voices in medicine and environmental activism at the Reclaiming Food & Medicine: Ending Corruption & Chronic Disease conference on October 28th at the San Jose Civic. Sponsored by Adrian McRae and the Children’s Health Defense – California Chapter, attendees were motivated, educated, and astounded at the level of information packed into this five-hour conference.

Dr. Malhotra has been campaigning to clean up the way we do medicine for well over a decade. “We have made important strides forward, but there is still much to do, and this includes equipping the people on the ground with education about how their food and medicine systems function, and how they can make better choices for themselves and their families.” Aseem painted a picture of personal experiences, patient results, and deep-dive study into many aspects of the medical mistreatment and how we, in the U.S., spending the most on the globe in “healthcare”, yet having the worst outcomes.

Dr. Shiva shared amazing successes happening in India that has led to beautiful heirloom seed-saving strategies and food production. “Whatever happens to seed affects the web of life.” Vandana Shiva is an Indian scholar, environmental activist, food sovereignty advocate receiving many standing ovations during her speech at this conference.

Dr. Drew emceed the conference by navigating the medical and environmental expertise to paint the story of what happens when you stick to the facts, share the truth, and speak out.

What a delight to have our surprise guest, John Shipton, as a speaker and part of the Q&A panel during the conference. It was John’s ability to articulate Julian’s story that set the stage for the day of the importance of exposing the truth through freedom of speech. John brought us all closer to Julian, where duty to the constitution resulted in a threat of locking Julian up for 175 years.
